Short instructions to download Abema VODs.

 

Requirements:

1. Japan VPN (Softether works)
2. https://github.com/noaione/yuu and whatever required by the script
3. ffmpeg

 

Instructions:

1. Connect to Japan VPN

2. Open command line on folder storage.

3. Enter the command to download video (e.g.yuu download https://abema.tv/video/episode/444-4_s1_p50 -r 360p)*see github page for detail

   • if you still see "AbemaTV: Video are geo-locked to Japanese only." message, that means the VPN doesn't work, so switch to different VPN

4. Wait for download until it finishes.

5. Convert to preferred video format with ffmpeg.
